AZ Road Trip

Got the car all packed and headed to Phoenix!  On our way we stopped in Vegas for a night where we celebrated easter.  The girls were worried about the Easter Bunny finding us so we left him a note at home with the name of our hotel.  Luckily he got it in time to drop by our hotel and bring us some loot! The car was too packed to bring baskets so Mr. Bunny was kind enough to leave their stuff in a bag for each of them.  While in Vegas we visited the M&M museum and saw the fun 3-d movie there.  Then it was off to Phoenix so Daddy could get some work done while we played.  We loved the sun and relaxation!  We visited the San Tan Mall (our favorite) and the river front in Tempe.  Who know's we might like it so much we could move here..

Second Annual

This year we had our second annual flashlight easter egg hunt.  Pictures just don't do this activity justice!  It is one of the coolest things to see around a hundred kids go running off into the dark with their flashlights to hunt for glow in the dark eggs, glow sticks, candy and toys. It lasts a little longer than your usual hunt so it is fun for all ages.  I let the kids invite all of their friends and family so its really fun to have a huge hunt full of people you know!  This will be a tradition that we will continue wherever we may be!

Lucky

Lucky me to have such cute girls!  For St. Patrick's day the girls woke up with a trail of rainbow candy from their rooms leading them to some lucky charms.  Then it was our traditional rainbow waffles (thanks Sara G. for the idea years ago) and cute green outfits!  One of my favorite days of the year!

Don't Know Why You Don't Take Me Downtown

A day downtown was just what we needed while the guys were away on a boys weekend!  We took the kids to Salt Lake to visit City Creek, Temple Square and the church history childrens museum.  I think their favorite part was the Spanish dance lessons.  I even got in on the fun!

Monkey Around

My Little Monkeys love to do photo shoots with each other.  I find pictures on my camera a lot of photo sessions they have done together.  They usually make me smile because they seem to capture their personalities in pictures better than I can.  This is one of those occasions!

When I grow up

One of my favorite things to do is ask the girls about their future.  Here is a glimpse of what Lilah had to say today about what life will be like when she is "old"!

Favorite color red
Favorite food is watermelon
Favorite thing to play is on her kindle
Favorite friend is Courtney
Favorite person is Kayla

Will drive a red mini van.
Marry someone who is old.  That has no hair and glasses.
He will be an ice cream truck driver.
She will be a dentist.  Good thing because I think they will need the income.
She will live in St. George where there are houses.
She will have the color of skin we already have.
She will have blue eyes.
She will have 5 kids.  All girls named Ellie.
Sister Pringle will be their grandma.  She doesn't have any ideas on who the grandpa will be.

Daddy is 20 mommy is 50 (wait a second!!!!!?!?!).
Grandma and Grandpa are 68 and 70

The most important thing she has to do every day is get dressed and make her bed.
