You don't get any closer to fresh milk than a dairy farm. I love when the kids get a chance to see where their food really comes from. Hamblin Dairy is the best place around to see the action and get all your questions answered. Even though it was Kayla's field trip, Lilah and Kate still got to experience the action. Best part - feeding carrots to the cows!

Finding More Joy
Joy. I know it's there. It's all around me. But somehow, lately, it's been a little elusive to me. I keep telling myself that joy is not a benchmark or a result of some great accomplishment or result. I tell myself that I can feel it daily if I just look for it more. But somehow, amid the mundane tasks of the day: the diapers, the whining, the cooking, the cleaning, the hairstyling, the laundry, the homework, etc... I find it difficult to feel joy.

Spring Break at Home
Since we had no place to go for spring break and Jer was out of town on business, the girls and I decided to make a fun week at home. We started out by taking a trip to the Hill Aerospace museum. The girls had fun learning about the differences between helicopters and airplanes and seeing all of the huge machines. The next day we took a trip to the pool followed by a day at Chuck - E - Cheese, a day at Grandma and Grandpa Greyhairs, and finally when Jer got back a lunch date at In N Out burger with him. What a fun way to spend a week at home!
