Wearing O' the Green!

Who can resist a bunch of cute girls all in green on the same day.  Yep!  Gotta love St. Patricks day!

Tag Along!

Spring training, time away from kids, hot sun....You bet I'm tagg'in along!  Jer had to go to Phoenix for some work and I didn't want to miss the opportunity for a get away.  Thanks to Aunt Michelle we were able to leave the kids without worry.  We enjoyed a day at the ball park, time sitting by the pool, some good restaurants and of course our favorite - shopping.  Since Court, Jeremy's business partner was there too, his wife Kelli couldn't miss her opportunity to get away either.

A Perfect Sunday Afternoon

By the time the frost of winter begins to diminish we all feel a bit couped up.  This particular Sunday afternoon was a perfect spring day with blue skies but was still a little chilly.  We headed out to Jensen Park for an outing.  The girls enjoyed riding their scooters and feeding the birds, but most of all we enjoyed filling our lungs with fresh air and feeling the warm sun on our faces!

"Bear" Bum!

We've had a "Bear" bum at our house lately! At last it was time to get rid of diapers forever in this Dopp house! I wasn't sure I was ready to tackle the job yet, but Kate was moving into into diaper refusal mode so we went with it. Luckily she was the easiest of all the kids to potty train. Don't get me wrong, we still have our accidents, but we are now well on our way to success and have banned diapers during the day. The night time, now that is yet to come, but we will take the success we have! Such good news, it just had to be told not one but two weeks in a row at Relief Society good new minute!!

A Party to Remember

Ever since I was a little girl I have always thought surprise parties were fun, so when we got the invite to go to my friend Angela's surprise 40's/50's style party I couldn't wait. This party goes down as one of the greatest in history. When we arrived at the Old Post Office in Ogden the old fashioned building and elevator ride up to the second floor was the beginning of a perfect setting for our cute fifties costumes. As did the music and painted silver moon back drop we found waiting in the dance hall! Everything was perfect for the guest of honor, my good friend Angela, who was about to arrive with her husband who was all decked out in tux and hat. Angela had found out about the surprise but that didn't kill the excitement of her kids who were dressed in the cutest poodle skits and page boy outfit! The evenning was full of dancing, dinner and fun but nothing could top Cody, Angela's husband when he made a surprise appearance as Elvis!

Helllllo Kitty!

Our sweet little Lilah has finally turned 4. Gone are the days of being a terror! Lilah has really turned into a sweet little girl. She is the best at sharing and can clean up messes like you wouldn't believe (good thing because she is the one that makes them). I love the way she crinkles up her nose at you when she gets excited about something and even the way she whines every day that she doesn't like what we have at home for lunch (Her way of plotting to go out to eat, although it never works!)

Hello Kitty was the party she requested so we did our best to train all the little party goers to be kitties. We ate donuts off of plates on the ground; played kitty, kitty, cat; kitty freeze dance; cat and mouse and even made sure they all had ears and whiskers. I hear many of the girls didn't want to ever wash their whiskers off. Good thing because they really were difficult to scrub off anyway!

Christmas Morning!

Neeley and Kayla waited until 6 to come in and wake us up. Kate and Lilah probably would have slept through it all had we not woken them up. When we went out to see what Santa had brought the girls were amazed. Especially Kayla who had just asked for a bike from Santa not 12 hours earlier and she actually got one. Neeley wanted one all along and I guess Santa figured Kayla might change her mind last minute and put one on his sleigh for her too! Kate was perfectly happy with her dolly and Lilah was over the moon about her new D.S. like her big sissy's.
