Trip'n

Among my favorite things to do is take a road trip. I think it stems back from the many times we would drive from our home in Santa Fe, New Mexico to grandma's house in Spanish Fork, Utah. We would sing the "Hello" song back and forth and sway to the music. As we did, Dad would have to steer carefully because we would sway the van back and forth.

This December we took a road trip to St. George with Daddy for his work. We played all day in the condo pool while he went to work. Our favorite thing to do in St. George is exploring the red rocks up by the Dixie sign.

We also decided that a yearly tradition has to be to come and see the live manger play at Tuacon each year. The girls had a long personal visit (no other kiddos in line) with Santa, we had front row seats at the play, listened to the carolers, ate donuts, sat by the bon fire and watched the performers. What a magical night! Oh and BTW, Santa must have just returned from a lengthy visit to England. His accent was divine!

Another highlight was a visit to the St. George temple. Twinkle lights and palm trees go together beautifully! Our good friends Andy and Holly, from Vegas who now live in St. George came along with us.

Each morning in the condo we had a special surprise for the girls. Whenever we give surprises at our house you have to sit on the couch with your eyes covered and we put it in your lap. Way more fun than gift wrapping, we think! This is one of those moments I will hold in my memory forever!

That last picture is the best. I'm going to have to try that one. So sweet.
