Congenital hip dysplasia. That is what they call it when the hip socket does not fit snug around the ball of the hip. Since Kate was breach for so long there is a good chance she could have developed CHD. Tomorrow we go in to Primary Children's Hospital for an ultrasound on her hip to see if that is the case. The pediatrician assured me that it is nothing to worry about. If she really does have it, she will have to wear a brace for a while to fix it. We hope we won't have to do that but are glad that we are aware there may be a problem and have a way to fix it.

I hope everything goes well. Like you say, no point in worrying about things until they happen. I'm sure everything will be A-OK. We'll keep Kate in our prayers.
It was fun to see all of you yesterday! Thanks for coming.
Good luck tomorrow! Keep us posted. Our friend's baby had that and today you could never tell a thing was wrong. We are so lucky to have such great medical care so close to home. PCMC is great!
